Hi guys,
I have an 09 Raptor 700 that has a VERY eractic spark. The strange thing is the bike ran perfectly fine when I put it on my trailer after riding it all day without any problems then I drove it off and put in my shed but when I went to start it next time I have this problem. One minute you can start it and it runs fine and then when you turn it off it wont start again and so on....I have replaced the coil as the lead was a bit damaged but things are still the same so the mechanic told me the stator was faulty so as told I bought a new stator and guess what yep bloody thing is still the same now he is tell me it might be the CDI/ECU under the seat but these are very expensive so I was hoping there is someone in the Bunbury area of Western Australia that I can take my ecu and hook it up to your bike to see if it runs ok. Failing this can anyone give me some idea's because this is driving me nuts and getting bloody expensive. If anyone can help me in any way could they PLEASE give me a call on 0428560611

had the same prob with a rappy yamaha charged us $55 to fault find and tell us it was the cdi alot cheaper than replacing what some gurus rekon its guna be they found the problem in 30 mins wile i waited

Check its not the little switch in the clutch lever playing up.

Yes it was the little switch on clutch lever.......bloody thing thanks for all the help especially mart 300r you hit the nail on the head ....bbbrrraaaaaappppp bbbrrrrraaaaappppp
