Hey guys, i would love to hear from a few quad riders that would like to ride against me and my friend on our 3 wheelers.
If your keen, please let me know. Were not interested in MX only flattrack.
Quads vs Trikes: 1st April... track seems free....

Hey Barn, thanx so much for the reply.
Apparently MX central requires a minimum amount of starters... (Quads)
Ive talked to them, trikes are cool and can run the same rules/regs as you guys.
We have 2. lol I know it sounds dismal but im sick to death of organising things for 21 "keen as trikers", only to be let down and have the same 2. So im guaranteeing 2.
I have raced short circuit/ flattrack/ dirttrack for approx 5 yrs as a junior on dirtbikes but never had the opportunity to pitch my trike sideways.

| ive put up some imfo on the nsw facebook site, we should be able to get some numbers there,on the 25 march we have our speedway racing at nepean in sydney and normaly get about 12-18 riders |

| my dad use to race trikes and quads back in the day (does road racing on bikes now), ill ask if he is interested but finding a suitable trike could be the problem with short notice. |

I have some bad news sorry guys,
I just got off the phone to them and they don't let quads on their flat track, only on the motorcross track.
Well that sux. 
Thanx for your help though Barn, if we do end up finding a venue I'll let you know.

Wouldnt that be under MA rules? I dont think they would allow trikes to run. Unfortunately for us i think the only way for us is if one of us eventually buy a bit of land and build our own private track.

Yea you would be hard pressed to get MA to let you run a trike on a track let alone race them!!!
But I remember the days when I used to race my uncles ATC250 around Brandon flat track (Ayr, Qld) chasin down Darren Walker on his custom yami tt500 trike !! It's a cool feeling throwing a trike sideways at 100kph+ and layin off the bike far enough that your looking under the handlebars not over em!!!!
But I do also remember the pain when throwing said trike sideways at said speeds and having the throttle cable snap just as I was coming into the apex of the turn and doing a superman impression.....
Yep them were the days.... heaps of fun them days!!!!
Manar park (qld) has a flat track on it not a bad one either I've put the quad around it a few times!!
