Gday, recently bought a very tidy Hilux cab chassis, the car itself is spotless & so is the tray. The tray hasn't done much work by the looks of it & apart from carrying the Quads it won't do much. Its an ex fleet car & had vinyl logo's on it, even though they are gone you can see where they were so my question is how can I clean mill & anodised ally? I'm not looking to polish it or bling it, just to clean off some old grime n scuff marks
Cheers _________________ 04 TRX 450r

Depends how deep the scuff marks are on milled alloy......
The active ingredient in tooth paste is the same as what the professional polishers use Josh.
Use it neat with soft cotton rags & rinse with water.
Dunno about cleaning/polishing anodised alloy. _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.

That's good stuff! It's very strong, make sure you mix it right and don't leave it on to long, can harm the alloy. Used right it's great stuff. Oh and be careful with it on some plastics, makes them go white. |

Sand blast it with walnut shell grit.
I run a sandblasting business and use it on aluminum boats and engine parts.
I even blast cars with it.
The car resto guys love it as it is gentle but it doesn't leave white crap through cars like soda blasting. |
