 Hey everyone
just joined two days ago
love the site posted a few pics upfrom my last trip to stockton
im from sydney and i rode a kwaka kfx 400 for 6months
now i got a 05 honda 450r and i LOVE IT
got AC nerfs pro circuit pipe and k&n air filter
Laeger's axle and just put some barkbusters on fly handlebars
blackrims with ITPsandstars
should i put 1st 2nd stage jets not sure cause i dont understand much about them any advise would be appreciated

Is it 'running' ok now?--Is the air box lid still on & you intend to take it off?

hi
yes its running fine
the air box lid is still on but a hole has been cut out at the top
i raced my mate he has the 700raptor and after six drags
hes always finishing half a bike length infront
i just need that little bit extra power to get him
so what do you think? |

How big is the cut hole,if only small,take the lid off  & rejet it.Lift the needle by lowering the clip,1 or 2 positions & increase the size of the main jet,1 or 2 sizes.If in doubt,go 2 of each,better to be too rich  than too lean  .If it backfires on decelaration  ,screw out the idle/low speed screw about half a turn.  PS-Anyone else with a Trx that can give more accurate advice,feel free.  PPS-GET IT DYNO TUNED> See or phone Zac at www.explosiveracing.com.au
