Perhaps the most important thing that seems to have been over looked here

No helments --- bad enough
Passenger ???!! + inexperienced rider + no helments =Possible Pain
Amongst all those little advisery plates/stickers on the mudguards it states NO PASSENGERS.

How does 12 deaths since 2002 translate into
"1 quad bike death every month" ?
Must be calculated using "political maths".

It's a bike ! wear a helmet! Doesn't matter where you riding it doesn't really have to be full faced if that's what people don't like about helmets
Has anyone ready the reports on why trikes were banned ?
there's a report on every accident involving a trike over 2yrs started in 85 , in every case the rider was either under the influence ,speeding or not wearing a helmet
And they blamed it on the manufactures not providing adequate training and awareness on their recreational vehicles
It's all just common sense
