I coulnd give the 1000 cc quad away with a busted engine , so I decided to keep it.
Now it has a new motor an 05 model 1000cc.

it was a bit of a nightmare ,to get the exhaust of the 98 motor to fit i had to Move the rear shock back.
I may as well fitted a v8 engine in.
The 98 and 2005 r1 engine are not even close totally different.
The exhaust fits there quite well nothing worse than scraping on everything.
Started it last night and it is so quite.
