Anyone know if i can fit 27x9x12 bighorns on front of 2010 outlander max alloy rims without spacer plates?

It varies a lot from tyre to tyre, so you are right to ask about the specific brand and size.
I have fitted bigger 28x9 fronts without spacer plates and they were ok.
I have fitted smaller 25x8 fronts and they rub on the tie rod ends.

Andy from Austraco has 4mm spacer plates in stock if you need them.
I think he can do different dimension plates too, but the 4mm ones fit under standard rims and still leave plenty of wheel nut thread.

Ok put a front tire on there was about 5mm clearence so going with 6mm spaces should bring it back to almost standard...

Mate if it clears by more than 1mm... that's great.
Leave the spacers off if you can.
The wider you go with spacers on the front, the more bump steer and 4wd tyre grab you will get (ripping the bars out of your hands).

These might just sound like swear words but...
The more you move the tyre contact patch outward in relation to the king pin inclination angle the worse any steering gets.
