The Jackal has one. I've riden it briefly, and helped him find a errant rattle. IMO, they are very well put together, well featured and a very good bit of gear. Certainly worth a look IMO. _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.

I have one, if you dont want to fork out big dollars but still want new its a nice bike
Well put together with alot of nice extras as standard (braided lines, excellent wheels and rims, tow hitch, heavy duty racks and front bar)
It is a massive quad considering it only has a 500cc engine but it goes ok, just need to be alittle aggressive with the throttle.
The plastics have alot of nooks where mud catches meaning you have to spend more time cleaning it, if that bothers you.
With the Lockable front diff, excellent tyres that add to ride hight and give good grip, low range and great clearance as standard its good offroad, throw in the winch and its really good for the price.
But for $10,000 you get alot, for an extra $500 at purchase you get a 3000lb winch which is a very nice bonus.
I have zero regrets since getting it and the price and option combination made it to hard to pass up and very easy to look past the few niggles. |

You sure the rattle wasnt the from clutch weights/plates? just a thought, I dont get it much but sometimes you hear them.
One other drawback is finding aftermarket parts |

No Cypher.
The rattle was found to be a missing bolt in the radiator guard, letting the seed catcher rattle and shake a bit. We also found that a cable guard was just touching the front uni. 5 minute fix. ( And about 95 minutes to find! )
I had a similar CVT rattle in my CF. Cleaned and lubed and problem solved. _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.

| Fair enough, I had a screw come out of the plastics in the right side leg well (small annoyance but they gave a new one straight away) |

| No real idea as I have not gone on any long rides however it is a very large quad with a 500cc engine so if your doing a lot of hills dont expect it to be great |

Both the Jackals bike and mine have very similar fuel consumption. It is very dependant on load and conditions though with a consumption of between 2 and 3 & 1/2 litres per hour or 6 & 9 km per litre.
We just came back from a shooting trip in CQ and fuel consumption was about 10km/ litre on mine. ( And one tyre for 180km. ) _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.
