Sent you a PM but it seems to be stuck in my Outbox.
I have an '86 model which is suitable for parts or a restoration, no front forks and a silly front end added to make it a quad...
From what I can discern the engine is the same on the '84 and so the kick start might fit. I can't tell you that for sure tho' as noone I have been able to contact seems to be able to confirm or deny it.
Have you had any info on it fitting?
Let me know if you are interested in the kick start or the whole lot. I posted info on it under the '3 wheelers' heading to see if anyone wanted it.
