hey does anyone know if the typhoon is the same as atomic mastiff or very similar possibly made by same factory but different branded just out of intrest look very much same

hey breno 213 just changed the motor to zhongshen 160 ho should make a big fifference ill post how it goes when ive finished

Ok did it bolt stright in or you needed to make modification for mounts mines just for my slightly disabled boy whos 11 he rode a blaster the other day for his first time. First an second gear pretty good takes of like a pro better that his sis an brother who ride it al the time lol even had him going up a very steep hill clime an back down it after half an hour of rideing it.

bolts straight in ,had to throw original wiring harness because not needed nothing really matches up anymore, also not sure if the motor has charging or not for brake lights ect. still waiting on bigger carby ,clutch lever and cable also need to mod pipe slightly to fit.godd to hear your son is getting into it.

Some parts are the same, the Axle and Hubs (but not the Carriers) and the front end are all the same.

any pit bike type engine is an easy transplant into a Typhoon, wiring is alwauys different form model to model anyway but if you don't need lights its easy to sort out.
