think that sort of lack of basic riding safety gear, ie; helmets is stooopid
It is not somethin IMO an ATV community would want to promote
and would be immediately deleted on some other sites.. {oley soapbox}
.
.
besides that
some of those rednecks got a little talent Very Happy Laughing Laughing editing and music was O.K.

not at all
been stoopid 2 or 3 times,
A couple of short bursts, testing and listening to a motor would be about it
actually one occasion quite recently with another croweater,,, but that’s another story
Anyhoo,,it was out of character
and I'll never do-it again Dr Phil
.
.
.
.
.
.
next production, just tell the actors that Paramount You Tube won't accpept the footage unless all safety gear is worn

Firstly welcome aboard 1sick6, and I'm sure your contibutions to this site will surely enlighten us over the years, okay dribble over. Smile

Mate all we're trying to say we are trying to promote a safe and credible image for all quad riders (no tree climbing comments please from that who know me... Hrm ) And although I didnt see the video, riding any great lengh with out a helmet is NOT going show anyone of us in a good light, and no we're not sooks at all, just trying to keep this sport in a positve light, So have fun, and you'll find a heap of banshee riders here more than willing to help you out or visversa on advice, bikes and the like.

yayhey-ya's
on a remarkably similar topic
did we all see that You Tube segment on the tele last night
.
reckon those guys who sold You tube off,,would be absolutely laughin
.
.
You've got to wonder in today's ,,,day an age
how liable You tube could actually be
millions of people watch people do ridiculaous jackarse stunts, pushing the boundaries of
"is that legal to do"
"how could they get away with that stunt"
.
some how or rather they keep porn off You tube,,, so a freind told me once cause he searched and couldn't find any...
.
you wonder where they draw the line on what stunts get edited or removed from You Tube,,, cause they push the boundaries of illegalities
.
.
anyways,,, lookin forward to My Banshee Video part II

Lets hope they're not liable at all. If they were then censorship would take over and make it realy boring. This is a cool form of free expression and should be supported. People can get as creative as they want and publish it for free. Almost every one has the gear to make a short film so we are living in a true communication revolution where we don't have to listen to Eddie any more. Cool Cool . Hey, if you think it looks dangerous then don't do it. At least someone else has and we can see for our selves if we think it is to dangerous or stupid to attempt. But damn, it makes for some bitchin entertainment.

Not sure about the helmet issue though. On one hand we will only show footage of riders with helmets, for liabilities sake I suppose, and then we will glorify some one doing a back flip! Confused Kind of defeates the purpose don't you think? I would feel safer cruising ( not racing or riding fast ) with out a helmet than I would attempting a back flip with all the best gear. Fact is I could get f#%*@d up just about anywhere. I would like to see the footage if its still around.
Just a few thoughts.

Nice work mate. Good choice of music and well edited. I suppose all the helmet do-gooders never had a passenger on a quad before either!!

Some countries of the world still allow motorcycles on the road without helmets people- its a culture thing.

My mate had one on when he was riding but it didnt stop him getting killed when he got cleaned up by a car that didnt look and snapped his neck!! (R.I.P. Steve).

Not saying you shouldnt but give the guy a break- not the first and not the last to do it. At least he was honest and showed us.

Be a good boy wear a helmet and bring on more video's like that.

Cheers

It's true what they say, music makes the video. Good editing to. Gee, I would love to come to Whyalla for a ride. Looks like fun. Very Happy I took my stock Banshee down there years ago and ran it at the 1/8 mile drags! I got some strange looks and heaps of cheers. Laughing

Hey, see what I mean. Your lad had the scense to ask " Why no helmet? " Smart kid. I hope your response was something like, " no brains! " Laughing Hey, it bought up the topic for discusion with your son so now you have his full attention so you can explain just how wrong and dangerous that is. God bless the clever kids. Cool
