Went to Offroad race at waikerie on Sunday ,Seen Gallard in his trophy truck blow everyone away with a couple good 80ft+ jumps till he had a DNF. I sat there wishing Quads could race there as well. What would be involved in organising? Or could we have own enduro on this track its 80km Who would we have to contact. Track looks Fast with tight sections in the mallee. Could we do it ???????

My parents where there as well helping out an know the owner i could look into it again but the buggy mob dont normally like lowning there tracks to anyone else if so its at a nasty price last location i aproach wanted a $1000 for the weekend not bad as long as you get fithty riders or more.

you should see the track Galllard has on his block at renmark.
There is also a nice little spot to ride next to his property in Renmark as well.
There is a big sand basin and a lot of tracks with some large whoops.
A while ago I went riding in robe and the buggy guys didn't like you on their land. The guy that spoke to me said it was to do with insurance.
There has to be away to get quads registered because I saw one with a number plate in the bike shop in renmark today.
I spoke to the owner and it is registered under a special vehicle permit.
I would love to be able to access all the tracks the 4x4s can down there.

Gallard got third behind the Haby brothers in sundays race. Big rollover on sunday over the woops (5 rolls). We organised bikes there about 10 years ago so dont think they would stop bikes using it.

If we approached the organising committee as a united group to the people that run the waikerie enduro we could suggest running directly after the cars, say 2 laps for 160km we could assist with sponsorship volounteers, and other sugested help. I know alot of people follow cars etc but alot of people follow bikes as well and cannot get to finke to watch all the action Its an idea that has merit and i think we could get 50 riders.
What do people think!!!!!!

Be great to have a long race somewhere in the second half of the year...

I'd certainly think of coming down from Brissie for something held over 2 or 3 days.
