Hi All,

Complete NEWB at quads!!

I have an 07 TRX400EX and I just bought a slip on pipe.

Im in Perth and was wondering if its necessery to rejet??

yep, as much as a pain it can be, you will not get the true benefit of the pipe

Thanks mate.

Whilst I may not get the full benefits of the pipe, is it safe for me to install it and then get it rejetted at a later date when I have the coin and time.

From what Ive read if I put it on Ill run lean and stuff the motor...

Well if you're putting on a decent aftermarket exhaust it'll breathe more and therefore need more fuel. Not got the money to re jet? Carry on, you'll have far less money when there's a hole in your piston......

At least leave the air box standard (with lid on) if you don't re-jet and you want to run it.
