hey guys wondering has many people used the 501 cc kits available for a yfz 450 04/08.....thinking of rebuilding one of mine with one but have had conflicting info laughing

I had a 502 kit from falicon and never had a problem with it. It raced mx, speedway and supermoto without any problems

It'll vibrate if you buy a kit and sling it together like most idiots do. If you have it dynamically balanced it'll be fine.

You'll have to get the balance shaft machined to get the clearance you need. Because it's hardened you'll have to get it ground by a specialist company but I never had any problems with vibration and I slung mine together. They really are a pretty basic kit so anyone with some mechanical background should be able to do it.

i had a 502 ran fine ran a 535 ran better 560 runs even better. no grinding needed.
