A quick thank you to all support shown towards Donovan on Saturday, much appreciated.

Heads up on the method of which the protest was carried out, many are under the impression as we were, that a junior protest could only be carried out by the competitor under the purple flag.

The protest method used on Saturday is in the rule book, page 92, 12.5.1 B) "An entrant may request that the entrant's machine may be measured and sealed before the event".

My personal befief, this is the quickest way to break any junior's spirit/interest. It does have an effect on the kid throughout the day as 99% of juniors do not know what piston's, cranks are fitted into race engines.

Anyway, all measured up good. I'd hate to see this happen to anybody else's kids, be it at State or National events.

Regards
Dave Petersen

never mind the new rules, it seems the biggest problem with juniors is their parents.
