hi mate , when i get stuff on ebay , i use a company called fill my truck, basically it goes to them as an order then anyone with a truck will ring you and and bid to you how much and you either say yes or no, its mainly designed for trucks looking for backloads . www.fillmytruck.com
hope this helps.

if you can get the person in sydney to crate it, it will be much cheaper as it counts as general freight. i got one shipped for about $600 with Northline (http://www.northline.com.au/index.php?id=13) which was the best price i could find. if you ship it as a quad it can cost upwards of $2000

yep northline or WA freightlines around $600 from sydney to perth should be heaps cheaper as its a back load the other way

Mark from Express Auto Carriers 0417 317 397

Give these guys a call, they did the wife's Outlaw from Gold Coast to Perth $440 a while ago and friends got a Grizzly shipped to Melbourne for around the same cost.

if its crated it will be cheaper. if you go onto the northline website you can get an online quote for a crate. much cheaper than a quad uncrated. you may need to get the seller to do some work in packing it though. i only paid about $600 in november from their sydney depot to their perth depot.

Try the local motor bike shops to see if they are throwing any crates out - they often have frames made up out of some angle so the load can be shifted with a forklift. Worst case get a pallet and take wheels etc off and tie it all to the pallet. That way they can shift it on and off easy and will charge freight based on a pallet.

I used TIME transport about 2 years ago. Cost around $500 depot to depot. The bike was strapped down on a pallet.
