This is kinda 2 topics in 1. I was riding yesterday and it was pretty wet, like really effin wet and throughout the day I noticed my grips started spinning and eventually when I was sliding though a corner one slipped off the bars "profanity removed" nearly went pear shaped real quick :s Just curious as to what a few of you might put on your bars before you fit you grips??? Iv heard hair spray and glue and all sorts of wonderful tricks just wanted the general opinion. Secondly while I was just looking for bar ends on the net I stumbled across this. First thought was WTF are you serious, but then i guess if its heckin cold where you ride well then..... Any one seen these before?? http://www.thefind.com/sports/info-atv-handlebar-warmers _________________ Some days I'm just all thumbs...... |

Hairspray & carby/throttle body cleaner, both work well.
I run the ODI Rouge lock-on grips, they are a no brainer to install and super comfy. |

We 've been using mountain bike grips for some time now as they have locking devices on each end of the grip.
Once you've tightened the grub screws they don't move.
Usually about $20 and in lots of different colours.
Only work with thumb throttles.
thanks scotty. _________________ 06 700 raptor 50th anniversary |

I do the same Scottydig, but i'm running a duel gasser throttle with Hoffeman M/Bike grips and with a little bit of hair spray they slide on no probs, then when dry they dont move at all. _________________ Mine:- 2008 700 Raptor
