Does the the Jimco count as a SXS machine or is it a predetermined CAMS classified machine. See a class is being created for SXS's in CAMS called G class or (Polaris class I believe will be the name). So is it shooting for a specific CAMS class?

Polaris Class will be 4wd but I dont know the other qualifications as its not me driving that.

The Jimco will be certified as a Pro class buggy running a fairly mean wrx motor, 20 inches of wheel travel, 8 fox shocks full chromo frame .......... but ......... two people do sit side x side and as it is built in the states and like all other sxs it is left hand drive soooooooooo ........... was getting impatiant with all the things going round and round with regards to no mods then mods then maybe some safety mods polaris no polaris maybe some other brand safety upgrades to cages seats doors

Ended up going with the Jimco as the rules are clear cut and I could see myself over spending on a sxs by the time I finished motor mods, suspension mods, roll cage mods ........... the list would be endless. So in the end jump in price to get into a second hand Jimco wasn't that much.

I am also lead to believe that CAMS are just about to open a class for trophy carts which will enable kids from 6 and up to start racing an Aussie version of mini trophy trucks. There is even talk that there will be a class for the bigger kids to race as well. Rumours are that these machines will be selling under 20K ready to race with a full chromo frame, a arm suspension up front with your choice of shocks.

So for the time being both the yamaha and the polaris will have to just remain as farm hacks hahaha

Interesting times ahead.
