At 5 grand US? Given the reality of sponsorship? Dunno Gavin.
The suspension might be OK for desert type events, but there is a lot of buggies faster and better. But it would be wicked at rock climbing with that suspension travel and stance though! _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.

Half the guys posting (SXS) or more have some kind of sposorship.
The buggies that are faster and better are more expensive which is why everyone wants these to run in the first place. There are also professsional racing teams who are getting into this dont think its just limited to us posting here and the one or two others, definately more to it than that.
They're desert through and through.
I have it from people who say they have repaired two of the vehicles that took part in the Vic Winch events that the frames arent up to the winch events and they are building a chrome-moly chassis from scratch. You think they'll hesitate to drop $5 when most of the big systems over US are $5-ish anyway?
I donno, I guess it depends on how much they look into it and what they want as a final configuration.
The main advantage these guys are advertising is their raised arm height while not raising ride height, so better clearance. Thats just in the shape of their arms. So if it is a real advantage if its something there will be a heap of off-set arms on the market by mid-year and in Australia for the Safari if the SXS's run.

As I said Gavin, it will appeal to the cheque book racers........
I don't think the average RZR buyer would chuck about 25% on top of the purchase price. As far as the ones competing, whatever proportion that may be, it is the same old/same old.........
Pouring $ into a ride is done with the goal of getting results.
In any case, it is good to see yet more products becoming available.
And while we are not the US of A, the sport of "buggy racing" in Aus, would appear to be growing in a few disciplines.
And that is a good thing.
Should I be in a position to get into winch challenges and the like, and such a set-up, as I posted, be sanctioned and available, I'd give it serious thought.
In real terms, if I bought a RZR, because I thought it looked and would be useful for other forms of work and recreation, I doubt that I'd bother spending anymore than I needed to. But that's just me.
You have a nice day now. _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.
