| who else thinks that the new rule stating 'in addition to all motocross safety gear, quad riders must also wear commercially manufactured body armour' is a load of crap??? |

Sorry Rockstar, can't say I aggree with you. I've had my fair share of high speed get offs and I love the stuff.
My body armor (not the old roost protector syle but the fair dinkum armadillo type body armor) saved my collarbone at least once, and
every time I put that sh&t on I felt almost invincible which made me feel more confident out on the track. I love the stuff.
I'll grant you that putting the crap on and off is awkward, and the nylon netting in some styles can get itchy. But its a small price to pay. _________________ State governments give us REC rego + area to ride ATVs legaly! State Status: VIC-No (Nazi's) QLD-Yes(no place to ride tho) NT-? NSW-Yes, Stockton. I'm with ya Rockstar.
Choose mandatory roll over protection!
Choose airbags!
Choose doors and windows for quads.
Choose 20 km/h speed limit !
Choose cars, which are safer. Why not just ban bikes and quads?
And bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards and running on sidewalks.
Choose compulsory helmets for pedestrians! (I like this one)
Choose mandatory commercial body armour and helmets for spectators - more spectators than competitors get killed all over the world.
Choose more rules.
Choose more restrictions.
All for your own good.
"I don't have to choose, I've got h*****n."

| hahaha no take 5!!! written warning for me! it should be up to the individual. i just reckon body armour feels way too restrictive for motocross, especially when you put it over a kidney belt, neck brace, back protector etc etc etc!!! |

i reckon its good idea, but it still should be the riders decision
just ride with it for a while and you'll get used to wearing it |

Hey rockstar correct me if i'm wrong but if your wearing neck brace, kidney belt and back protector that should be all you need unless your back protector is a spine protector only then i'm not 100% on weather you need a chest protector as well!
as my understanding of the rule is for "body armour"is continuous protection the length of the spine on your back, which is achieved with a spine protector or the combination of the standard chest and back protector armour and a kidney belt _________________ The main thing is to have fun I just think second place is no fun
