Well I got your attenion didn't I
NO ???
solution ... I know I will never buy cheap S4&T again.....
I have had a lot of help from a few of you people in regard to my cf moto x6 with only 30 ks yes 30 ks.
The handle bars would hit and take paint off the tank cover when I turned the bars left to full lock,
I got GREAT advice off Dino (thanks Dino) in regards to fixing this, and to be totally honest, his adice would have worked if the quad would have been put together correctly.
Well I had a day off work and thought I would fix this baby with the help and advice from Dino, however, 3 hours later after stripping the steering down to basics eg. remove ball joints from pitman arm, remove pitman arm, remove handlebars and all associated "profanity removed" ...and then...remove steering shaft from the quad. After visually inspecting all these parts I noticed that the upper support for the steering shaft had been welded in an off centre position. Thinking that I could get away with this problem by moving the pitman arm one spline ...did not help me!!! I have now put the quad back together and it will be on the market after I have spoken to the dealer. So to all the people out there who told me not to buy chinese crap......I apologise for me being too negative with your comments. Honestly guys, as you can see I am totally pissed off and have lost the feeling of enjoyment for this quad. I do not know how much I will lose on this piece of crap but it is going to be a very expensive 30 KILOMETRES......HELP |

Thanks for the kind words Scouse.
If you have bought that bike off a dealer, it is under warranty.
Pure and simple.
The dealer is obliged, under Australian law, to make good any manufacturing defects. Whether that is through repairs or replacement, it is at the discretion of any arrangement that the dealer and Australian distributor come up with.
That should have been your first choice. You may have muddied the waters by attempting to get it right yourself, so maybe keep quiet about that.
If they don't come to the party, you have other options.
If not purchased from a dealer, you can sell it.( at a loss )
OR you can go and get it fixed to your satisfaction. ( at a cost. ) _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.

| i purchased an import 50cc quad for my littlest (2yrs) and its a beauty. only the battery doesn't hold charge, the hand brake pin assembly disintergrated and the rear axel is longer on the right by 1 1/2". other than that great. paid $630 delivered. for this price compared to a new polaris at about $2200, i can live with that. but as for a full size one, i don't think i'd gamble that much. hope all goes well mate.... |

So, I'd reckon if you contact the dealer, discuss the problem, take and send photos, etc, you may be able to come to a arrangement. Getting wins is as much about playing the game. You may be able to get the offending mount "re-positioned" locally and get some of that cost back.
In any case, it also sounds like the problem could be just as difficult with another brand. Good luck with it. _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.
