Hey all. I am looking at getting a good head set for listening to tunes for racing. Prefer something that blocks out back ground noise and makes the music dominate.

Any advise or links would be cool.

Thanks.

http://dicksmith.com.au/product/C7266/philips-sport-earclips-shs4800

something like that??

to cancell out the noise the earphones would be to large and not fit in helmet. i use these but in water "proof" version from phillips in the gym, sound pretty darn good i have to say for price ($40) and you can clean them in running water. they bloke out the sound of the twats in the gym talking crap as well as the gay music they play.

my 2 cents worth

John, I have a set of Phillips noise canceling ear plugs but they are pretty deep so they would be uncomfortable under a helmet. You are welcome to borrow them and try them if you like. Those molded ones that X-Factor 1 is talking about are supposed to be the go. I know Smitty swears by them. Just get a set of $500 Bose noise canceling headphones and chop them up!!!! lol

i have always used a set of philips cheap ones, nice and flat so they fit in your helmet, i don't want to cancel to much noise out as its always good to hear a few things behind you or your bike.

plus i am likely to lose things so i just get the cheap ones that hook around your ear.
