That is a great article with a lot of great points.
A big point, that hits home to Australia is spectators and media attention. For our sport to grow here, we need to invent ways to draw bigger crowds and get some media attention. Hopefully this will happen one day, and that day everyone in the Australian quad community will benefit. |

there is no specific tv coverage of quad events in australia, we are always tapped into other events.
i liked the article as it really shows what you have to do to get sponsorship. everything he said is correct.

Quads are a minority, because there is nowhere to ride.
On the weekend i signed a petition at the MCA warehouse supporting recreational rego for offroaders.
The way to get the sport to grow is to legalise us.
The numbers will grow rapidly because quads are fun.
Sponsors will notice.
Perhaps we should be shooting off letters to MP's on regular basis ? |
