Last year we stayed for 3 days, I think this one will go for longer because it is the longweekend??? Who knows what it cost for food. I bought $60 of fuel for the YFZ and probly $250-$300 for the truck to get there and back.
I'd say allow $1000 and then see what happens. But don't blame me if you get carried away. Laughing Laughing

Our outfit travelled about 4 hours and used about 120 bucks in fuel for the quad, all up we got away with it for under a grand , but there were 3 kids in that as well , that all includes food and fuel and entry , and i come back with an extra chair

Don't scare him Bullet, let him find that all out after the first day of riding when you can hardly move and realise you have to do it all again tomorow. Crying or Very sad
I think Mick is trying to sort something out for showers there but for me I just have them in my truck.

No real decent tree's near the pits lol. If you can do TP300 it is really worth it, awesome weekend, plenty of great people, awesome to watch/ride the drags and a killer enduro. I'd recommend it to anyone. If you don't want to be and mind numb idiot like me and others and just keep smashing youself over the woops contiously and nearly dying, just take it at your own pace, pull into the pits have a coffee and a bite to eat and then go again. Plenty of people do it, just ask Grizzly.

You will be too busy riding to be sitting in the shade. Laughing Shade marque things are good though.
Weather last year was good, got a bit of rain which was good to stop the little dust there is anyway.

Yeah, a bit of firewood helps too if you can fit it in. Not a lot of decent wood around to burn, except for the log that JRE and his camp have been trying to burn the last 2 years and still haven't succeeded. Laughing

Last year the locals supported the race with Bacon & Egss for breakfast, Sangas for lunch and BBQ for dinner, coffee, tea and soft drinks all day.

Try to use these guy as much as you can, very hard to cater for this type of event and is the difference of them making a small amount of cash or loosing a heap.

If you turn the times list upside down I reckon you will be on top of the podium.

I was told by a "profesional" personal trainer last night that 20 minutes into any hard work out you have to stop and eat, do think the food vans will deliver at the 14kay mark of the track... Very Happy

Last year was about a 25 k loop and it was taking me 40 mins. So will you make 14km in 20 mins? Laughing
Get Cam Wade, Aaron Ovens or someone quick like that to throw you something every time they come past.
