| hey all just looked at a mates 04 450 and was wondering how much oil it should hold it's been sitting a couple weeks and the oil only just shows on the dip stick in the reservoir does the oil drain to the crank case when sitting or is it really low on oil it had some oil around the fill hole on th crank case do these run the same oil for motor and box if so how much and wat does everyone recommend hope this makes sense cheers |

did u warm the motor up before you checked the level? takes about 250ml in the crank case and about 1.55L in the resovior tank. Same oil for motor and box. I use Yammalube, seems to do the job
