When you ask a question like the one above, the first question you are going to get back is...
What type of riding do you do?
Usually people run different sizes and different patterns for different jobs (the different types of riding).
Genarally 18" for MX, 20" for general purpose, maybe 21" for high speed like finke, 22" for where ever you need high ground clearance, to pick some rough examples.
Sandy stuff, stay 20" rears or bigger to keep your chain out of the sand.
There are a hundred different tread patterns to choose from too.
If you are asking for ideas, you might want to go for a good middle of the road 20" tyre that will do a best compromise effort of everything.
Something like the New 20" ITP QuadCross XC would make a great all-rounder.
If you have more dollars to kill, you might go for 2 differing sets of more specialised tyres...
Maybe a set of 18"rears for MX, and a set of 21" sand paddles for when you hit the dunes.
hope that helps _________________ Can-Am X Team
