Ive just spoken to the manager at Lavis Lane Metro Servo in regard to a Beach pass. Now that NPWS has taken over my 12 month pass is expired. Until the new ones are printed in May the beach access is free. however if you do not have RTA Rec rego, UVP or similar you will be fined. The Rangers have told the servo staff they will be up there all weekend. Some guys were fined last weekend just as they were unloading their bikes. Also access from they Anna bay (North) end is to be Vehicles only. No Quads. Also from May the servo staff have to sight your Rec Rego/UVP or no pass will be issued. Make sure you have a UVP before you go.

so whot if there at the beach, not the ones to look out for , fwd first timers so be on the look out .they do hurt .

Paid my 23 bucks for a UVP for the long weekend and drove straight past them with a big goofy smile on my dial. Got to love UVPs
