Hi guys
A need a bit of help. irecently restored a little 4x4 daihatsu Hijet light truck which i use as a runabout on my farm. It has standard tyres and rims and I need to replace them with something that has a bit more grip.
The rims are 12" diameter and 4" wide - do you think ATV tyres would fit.

Have a look at this site, it might assist you. The trouble you are going to have is getting something that narrow.

THANKS OLDRODDER
I was given an old 25x8x12 tyre that I am trying out on one of the front rims.
I have been running around the farm with it on the rim for the last 10 days without any real problem except that it rubs a little on the front coil spring when I use full lock to turn - Some wheel nut spacers might cure this.
Maybe someone has a couple of 24x8x12 or 25x8x12 tyres in the Brisbane area that they no longer need. If they were a reasonable price I could try them out. Then if they don't work I haven't lost too much.
