Hmmmm how does one gauge this??
Longest Running?
Most prize money?
Prestige?
Should the Nationals be the Holy grail?
Most Riders?
Cost of Riding?
Or do we have a Separate status for Bike/quad events?
The Only Truely Professional quad rider In Australia wins Finke..Does that make Finke No 1?
Or is it the Amount of spectators?
Whats everybody's thoughts?
Maybe bigjon could do a poll on the Top 10 events.

I would have thought the biggest quad event would be just that, a quad event!
Not an enduro for bikes with quads added-on because they keep pestering to be included like a little brother who just won't go away and mum keeps telling you to look after him. _________________ Cheers,

prestige, toughest and specator and rider numbers.
for me its finke then Thumb pump. these are events not races.
can't go past doing well at finke and the sponsors love it.
its pretty hardcore on the machine and the rider as it is a sprint desert race. not all riders and machines have equal ideas on the way there and back. and the fact that you go somewhere and then come back, adds a whole new dimension to the event.
don't know how many specatators but thousands, no other quad event has that many.
compared to the cost and location, the quad class is one of the biggest classes. _________________ 2012 sponsors, Working on it. |

I would have to say the outright best would have to be a toss up between Finke and Safari. Safari for the overall size of the event you are involved in, and Finke for the atmosphere and layout of the track itself. Possibly Hyden for numbers and the fact that it is a quad only event. Obviously the MX Nats would be the biggest for ATV MX as well, with the Tri states up there as well. I would like to throw TP300 into the mix for off road, but we are still in the very early stages of the event compared to the others, planning for the 4th event. Possibly we will be recognised in time as having the biggest variety of races at the one event for the biggest cross section of riders, but Finke, Safari and Hyden are still the big ones in my eyes.

I would have to say Thumb Pump 300 as it is quad only , and caters for tow quads as well , definately the premier event on my list , its not very often you get to race and tow other machines back , even if it is only the remaining fron bumper bar _________________ 2012 Can am Outlander Xt 1000cc
