Hey guys i will not be there now as i have some paper work to do, i misplaced my licence a few months ago so on the weekend i signed a form that i have a licence but dont know where it is, today i recieved a call that apparently my licence expired in August and because i moved the papers were sent to my old address and i never got them so i never knew, luckily MQ understand that it was just a mistake and instead of being suspended i have been fined but i also have to hand back my trophy for the QLD championship, let this be a lesson not to ever just assume everything is up date

Thats not good, i dont know if im going either as ive been ringing all evening to c why my name isnt up but sure enough nobody answering my calls or emails, I know, you can ride as me, all you have to do is chop bout 7 inches off your legs and talk really funny, lol

yes, mr luke your bad luck is my good luck, a qld state title by defult.

i definetly wasn't the fastest man on the day Luke was. but i get the title.

now i know how all those gold medal winners feel when they get them because someone is disqualified. or the drug cheats in the tour de france when they get disqualified.

Luke is this the same thing? LOL

Katherine has emailed me back and its all systems go for sunday, jus hope it doesnt rain now, c u all there, Mick i really dont know how you do all this driving, im driving to Phillip Island on tues for the motogp and ive been preparing for it mentally for the last 2 weeks lol, as Ireland is only about 8 or so hours drive from top to bottom this is one massive drive for me.

Its going to be really really wet, need to start putting the tearoffs on now lol

Yes well thunder x cancelled because of rain didn't see that one coming, NOT! bit dissappointing they were too greedy to call it off saturday before everyone travel all that way to get there!
We saw the track sunday morning @ 6am after driving at night to arrive @ 1am and pigs woulld have been in the pen out of that mud pit. Don't get me wrong the track was prepped beautifully and looked awesome, from a distance! but was 6 to 12 inches deep with mud and seeing as it was still raining saturday and forcast was for more heavy rain saturday night and sunday anybody with half a head on their shoulders would have known it was going to be too dangerous to RACE on!
I just feel really sorry for people like the likes of Roycroft and others like himsellf that travel 8+ hours for nothing! Nobody likes to cancel a race meet and i love riding and racing in the mud but when you know it's going to be that wet it's dangerous well common sense should prevail the money that will be lost, after all isn't people's safety worth more than a few bucks!

I hope they reschedule. That track looks awesome cant wait to ride it. Some one was defiantly delusional thinking we were going to race on that track. We all got the confirmation email on saturday reassuring us it was going to go ahead. I'm not blaming Katherine, she was just passing on a message, but someone has stuffed up big time.

Well done to Barry for first, John for 2nd and myself in 3rd place. Would have been better to have run the last round to see who came out on top as we were all close together.

and here i am in 4th place , after giving my bike to the 3rd place getter last round, thinking that i would more than likely smoke them all in the final round and come home with a podium , fairdinkum!

seriuosly, well done to not only bazz ,john, and craig , but to all those who attended the various rounds, myles for all the miles he put in to come to rocky, understandably fishing is more important now for him, his counter parts from CQ for not comming and making that round easier, shutey MR consistancey, round 4 this year would have been the first thunderx round he missed in years only because he had a tupperware party to attend and lets not forget the venues, the girls that come with us and the comradery we share.
