Howdy all,

Probably looking to refurbish & repaint all my plastics soon as the white is now a nice brown colour. Any ideas on how to go about this or if anyone has done it before & can reccomend a good way of doing it. I'd rather hear from you first before I go & f**k up all my plastics.

So any ideas?

you can have a go at using Plastic Renew on it. A mate of mine used it on his old ktm 450 plastics and it came up looking great. It eve restored the colour. Just a word of warning if your going to use it though is that it takes a lot of prep work to get it looking good

I dont know what kind of quad it is and how ripped up the plastic is but here is how we do it:

Get some ultra fine grade sandpaper(i use 600/1200/1600)
Wet sand all the plastic(this takes forever with the fine sandpaper Sad )
When the plastic is smooth again, take a good hairdryer or a electric paintremover and heat up the plastic(this also will take a while)
Be careful not to burn it!!!!

heating the plastic will make all the tiny sandpaper scratches vanish and brings back the shine and color.

Your plastics will look brand new again!

good luck
