Hi To All,
Have been speaking to Garry from Wakefeild Park Raceway in regards to setting up a venue to hold dirt drag racing.
After speaking to Garry today it looks like we have a venue were we can hold official events.
There will be all official timming equipment so you will have a time slip with your runs.
Hopefully racing will start as soon as febuary there will be all differant classes (eg) STOCK,MODIFIED,OPEN CLASS and will be broken down in to cc's we are also incorparating WOMEN drags and KIDS drags.
What im asking is how many people would be intrested in coming out to give it go.
Wakfeild Park has all the ammenties you need and a good spectator stand.
Stock Bikes and Modified bikes WELCOME all you need is your riding gear and a kill switch.

What surface will the track be??
Can we use a paddle tyre??
What ever the surface, if it has

The current surface is dirt but we might soffen it up so we can use paddles i will keep you posted.
There will be time slip and a christmas tree.
It will also be a 8-10 round competion with prizes and prize money if all the people i have contacted come on board For all the classes we run.
I will sponser the comp with $500.00 prize money any thoughts on how i should i distribute this money through the differant classes.
Eg.Do i spend it on trophys or gift vouchers or prize money.

Great to see plenty of support for ATVs.
No wonder theres so little things for atvs in NSW.
Well done everyone but we had over 50 quads goto stockton to race illegally.

I will make the trip down at some stage, shame no one here in Qld is interested in Drag racing??? Would love to have a local comp.

Great to see you finially got it sorted jet 762.
Dont be to tough on everyone wild 727 ,give it time ,I will come down from time to time to run to try and boost numbers,It would have been real cool if it could have been around central coast ,but atleast you got us a venue.
Im going to build up a nother banshee just for draging I might even post up some pics as I progress.. |

We will just have to see how thing come along with Wakefeid Park Race way.
It will be a tough battle but i think we can get a venue it a matter of time i must say i havent really pushed it much lately.
