| Hi all just bought a banshee its running fine but just thinking of a full top;bottom fresh up rebuild,i was just wondering if anyone would have a idea of what this should cost in other words if you have had afull rebuild how much wash it...thankyou |

There should not be more than a day's labour (8 hours) in rebuilding a Banshee motor top to bottom (excluding gearbox etc)
This does not include boring and honing the cylinders, but should include removing and refitting the engine in the chassis. If you removed the engine and refit it yourself, and delivered the engine to the shop nice and clean, you can save 1 or 2 hours off the labour bill.
Then there are the parts:
Crank $600
Pistons and Rings $300
Bore and Hone $250
Gaskets and oils $150

| the general hourly rate for labour is 95 an hour so be carefull where u go and shop around |
