This is for Australian phone numbers

REMEMBER: Mobile Phone Numbers Go Public next month.

REMINDER: all mobile phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sale calls.


Below is a link where you can enter your phone numbers online to put an end to telemarketing calls. Don't just delete those calls otherwise you will find that you have been signed up for all sorts of extra services that you didn't want or know about. Like special chimes, music etc.

ALSO – you can use the website below to take your home number off the list as well !!!!!

i got told a good one a fair while back , in regards to when a tele marketer calls you, you put them on hold and then leave the phone hanging,

If ya got abit of spare time on ya hands.A good one is to act really interested like get right into what ever it is they are tryin to sell talk some crap then when youve had enough just say now you di$khead you know how you always waste other peoples time well i justed wasted yours an hangup

The ACMA recommends recipients of the email delete it and not forward it on to other email users. A variation of this email was previously circulated during March/April 2009.
