Hi, we are looking at 18th & 19th september, to do skytrek again it's been a long time since the last one for me.

cost , camping $20 per car for 2 people ;extra person in that car $5 per person. per night.

trail ride for saturday $35,per quad. (approx 75klm loop)

trail ride sunday will be discounted price not sure yet.

you will have to bring everything you need, there are hot showers & toilets.

need numbers in by the 3rd of september.

sounds great but have to work on the Sunday. We are going to the Flinders (Blinman, just a bit up from Wilpena) in October school holidays. My brother lives up there. Staying on private property and they are letting us ride the trails!

UP DATE; The second days riding on sunday will be only $10 per quad.

Have also be adviced by others that have been on this ride a few weeks ago and thats it is rocky so be prepared.

eg; 6ply tyres minimum, be able to do 85 km fuel range. carry some food and drinks ,also some tyre plugs and a pump (you just never know).

once we start this ride it is only oneway so a break down will take a long time to recover.

bring you quad ready to ride and well maintained.

This is not a race its a trail ride .

Hi Matt , its going to be about 115km for day one and 85km day two only one lap per day.

Will there be any support vehicle? I doubt my quads would do 115kms

Last run of this track was 105 km, If you can do 115 you will make it no probs, also depends how you ride it.
I rode Donna's YFZ450 and mainly cruised but opened it up some too and hit reserve but made it home. Mando rode his Raptor 700 hard and run out of fuel ,scabbed abpout a litre from other bikes, ran out again and scabbed another litre then got home.
If you bring an extra 5 litre can on your grab bar or something you should be good. Most bikes you could do 100km of hard riding from a tank.
If you think you aint gonna make it carry some more fuel.
There is no support vehicle and if your quad breaks down you will have to retrieve it yourself.

hey guys sorry
i cant make it to skytreck there as a mx in port augusta that we are trying to get together a quad class to attend it as there a chance that the club will let quads race there if have sufficent numbers in the near future
