Well had another ride out my way, and why do hills get steeper, since the last time you rode them, why does mud stick even harder than last time, dont know well I'll tell you because thats the way it is... Well I sent the emails out and got a few reply and so the "hell" ride was born, and hell it was.
We got through the first section easy peasy, should have started worrying at that stage Laughing. Soe we get down to the next stage, and it was a slippery as a butchers... got through 2 thirds then we hit this hill
me and JB did it easy enough, the GLW slipped in a rut and she was done for, but she had that sorted out after a few bad bad words, which would have made a sargent major blush... eek

Old dennis was behind her and he just stopped on this "profanity removed" hill, waited then let the can am do what they do best, do the job for you with out much fuss... well that was soon to change, more of that later... Sad

And then we were just waiting for JB's mate on the two wheeler to get up the hill.

waiting

waiting (bad word)

waiting ( silence)

waiting (bad word)

waiting (very bad word)

So its decied that we would help him up. So we hop on Dennis's bike to drag his sorry a$$ up this hill, no good, i know we'll winch him up, half way through that his battery decides to cark it, it fired up and I said get that 300 kilo plus thing back up the hill NOW! So me JB, and his mate Matt are dragging this thing up a hill, Matt says to me, why dont you ride it up the hill eek (now if anyone has has met me, it would be fair to say I'm not suited for bikes, specially a 250 Laughing Laughing Laughing So its now about 2 hours later, an the bike is up the hill WOObloodyHOO.

So I hop on the scrambler and tow dennis out, the GLW was on the green one trying to work out how to use the gps... Rolls eyes Got lost once, had to back track about 8 k's and we come up t the gated section, and while every one was deciding on how to go back the other way, I just did what have to be done Rolls eyes So We get back to th cars and its dark now, the GLW was cold and not happy, there are no pics, could not be bothered, did get some video of JB drowning me in a wah out, but he can tell that story.

And I'll be back there soon as I can.

Yes it was the ride to nowhere thats for sure. I tell you what yogie where we went was just magic. I loved the moment when i was laying on the ground after pulling the 2 wheeled heap of shat up the hill & taking a rest, i close my eyes & just taking in the sound of nature then i hear an almighty "mother Trucka"....lol...just gold. I look forward to doing those trails again, i hope we can finish them next time. It was good to get out with bikes again

Ok then Ill let our fellow forum members be the judge....ill set the scene. Yogie was the lead bike, we were traveling down a hill that wasnt steep but very greasy...at the base of this hill was a section of shallow ruts that has water in them. yogie lined himself up dead centre & just by chance went into a deep one (not really that deep, say half a foot) & came to a holt, as i approached i thought he had slowed down to go through it so he wouldnt cover himself in water/mud. I had already picked my line before he stoped which was a bikes length to the right of him but on the peak of these ruts because i was trying to stay dry. As i passed him my bike slid into a rut that was pretty shallow however resulted in water & mud being sprayed all over yogie because i was right beside me so i feel its a case of "wrong place, wrong time"......The defence rests your honour!

Wet by misadventure.
I find the defendant guilty but with diminished responsibility.
The court suggests the use of a towel and a box of tissues as compensation.

I was leading down a muddy back track and I went to go through a wash out and I admit I took a wrong line and JB came up beside me and booted me into a screaching halt then roostered me and covered me.... In my defence of that statement i didnt roost you, as i passed you i didnt give it anymore throttle than what i was using to maintain my speed at the time so i cant be accused of roosting...now thats a nice bit of cross referencing for you...."the defence rests"
