I have just received a telephone call from the RTA telling me attempts may be made to cancel conditional registrations I have including registration of a Honda Pilot I have had since 1999.
If you have had any problem registering any type of buggy or if you have anything like a Pilot or buggy registered (Pilot, Odyssey, or any other similar ATV) please email me on burke@blackstone.com.au
I see Pilots and similar vehicles as one of the safest, most family friendly items through which people can enjoy the dunes and if anything needs to be done to ensure they are not outlawed I will be doing it. If they are outlawed I can see other ATVs following closely behind. I would appreciate any support or infromation that could assist. |

Another nail in the coffin as Vic recently had all offroad racing on non-designated racetracks outlawed without permit in 2006 and this year just a month ago the first ever council refused a permit for a long standing event.
I hope everyone in NSW, holder of a permit or not gets behind OZ here or shoulder to shoulder to try and squash the idiocy.
One thing I suggest is the shooters party currently hold the balance of power in the Senate in NSW as far as I know so you should contact Bob Brown for support as shooters, fishers and now 4wd's and I guess us are going to throw their weight together at the federal election under the shooters and fishers party. At state elections there is a party called the "Country alliance" Which aims at everyone with some kind of affinity and use of the natural resources (ie ATV's on beaches, access to NP's etc) and vote with them as well.
The ANZACS would turn in their graves to see us have given over our civil liberties to the government and let them ride rough shod over our basic freedoms in the form of " best for the nation" BS cotton wool wrapped totalinarianism. _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs
