hey, got a 660 Raptor, when at idol reverse light is off, when it has a few revs on it, the light comes on. What should I look for? It stays on when going forward and in neutral.

Reverse limiter perhaps - try cleaning the clutch perch and park brake block set up. Most people install a block off plate and then disconnect the park brake and wires and install an aftermarket clutch lever.
Does it stutter when you rev it? if so the reverse limiter is kicking in. Do a search on here and you should find some common answers. _________________ 660R mine

Hey mate,
You prob already fixed it but mine used to do the same thing i hated it
we changed the whole wiring harness & it was still doing it
We earthed out the 2 netrul & reverse lights and it stopped it only thing is you dont have is any lights cause all it is, is that if the lights are flashing its telling your cdi that your in reverse so when i took away the lights i could reverse at full noise haha bit of fun
i had many of dnf s with a lot of endro s cause of this issue
we figured out it was the reverse cable just pulling its really touchy if its just on it turns on the light make sure its not tight
Hope you got it sussed |
