Hey guys and girls. Does anyone know where I can get the kevlar glove liners - UnderWARES - mine are about worn out and Ballards.cc are out of stock.

The only place I found using Google was pcracingusa.com but they want over US$50 to post 2 pair to little ole OZ ???

I've been using Palmsavers (thin neoprene) and they work great for preventing blisters.

My local Yamaha dealer stocks both these and kevlar underwares.

And by the way, I meant $50 US for the postage, not including the cost of the item itself!

I use the white cotton surgical gloves you get from the chemist. They're around $3 per pair. You can use them once and throw them away if you want.

3 bucks a pair hey?

I might look into that.

Anyhoo, PC Racing have responded to my email and said they can post them for $15. That's better.

Well yes actually I work in an office, something wrong with that?

I ride about once a month, if I don't use UnderWARES I get blisters.

Maybe you guys should hardenthef##kup and understand that I didn't ask for your acceptance or your opinion of me for using them! I simply asked if anyone knows where I can get them.

Muzzgit. I have a pair I used for 5min and didn't like them.
Will be back in Sydney mid October.
If they are still of any use then you can have them.
Cheers

Thanks for the offer mate.

I'm in Perth so getting them might be an issue, but thanks anyway.

A mate of mine is going to the states on the 18th so I will give ham a small shopping list.

Are you sure you are not just masking another problem by using the underware?I used to get blisters(and i'm not an office worker) and i traced the problem to the grips i was using.Honda CR grips.i still use them but i trim the top ribs off,no more blisters. are you sure you are not hanging on (gripping) the bars too tight? This can also lead to forearm pump up.lookout, there may have been some usefull info there without any smartarse scarcasm. HAHA!! I could lend you some of my old underware in the mean time.
gazman by the way,is that a trx400 in your profile?? any good ,i'm thinking about picking one up for trail riding.

You keep your grungy undies to yourself fella Laughing

Yes I probably am doing all of those things. I have tried a few different grips, currently I'm using Pro Taper pillow tops, but really they aren't much different to most of the others.

I went trail bike riding last weekend with a group who hire bikes for those of us not blessed with the $$$ to own one, and all the guys who don't ride a lot, including those with their own bike, complained of blisters, but I was fine.

Oops I didn't read the last line of your thread.

Yes the 400EX is an excellent trail quad. They need axle spacers, better front shocks and a steering damper. (And maybe some wider A-Arms)

I ride with guys on DS650's and Raptor 700's and they blow me away in the long stuff, but get me into whoops and tight tracks and they can't loose me. Well, one can, but he's a freak!

Yeah but I get the feeling you've always wanted to ask...

DOES MY BUM LOOK BIG IN THESE?

haha

Yeah the 450 shocks bolt up, you just need to remove the captivated nut and use a coach bolt where the plastics bolt up. I also had to file a bit off the top of the shock so it wouldn't rub on the mount. The down side is you need to soften the shocks a fair bit for the 400 and they raise your front end an inch.
