Anyone in the North Queensland area we heading to the sand dunes for three days camping riding maybe fishing if we get bored but highly doubt that... meeting in cooktown lunch time friday 23 July.. or call me if want to ask questions 0458583800

Looking pretty cool on googlemaps/earth! the dunes seem like white sand, but also very spread out though!

Supposed to be like heavan up there with one of the longest jetty's in the southern hemisphere. When we were in T'ville our friends were based in Cooktown and they had a ball on the beach, we never took the bikes up there.

yeah the place is unreal.. the dunes are spread out but make for an awsome trail ride.... and then there is a good 10 km section of just heaven.. the sand is white white.. silica.. awsome on quads!! will get some more photos etc up there this time!!

yeah the tinted lenses go a long way up there!!!! Absolute unreal place but the drop offs jump out at ya!!!!

We didn't end up making it to the dunes. You Can't say we didn't try but!
The track to the big dunes was a little wet so we ended up at the beach for the weekend a bit dissapointing but good fun all the same.

Yeah guys didnt quite make it in as you can c from woz525 photos.. will have more up soon.. we did some riding racing etc at the beach!!!! and then the trip home.. wet!!
