Anyone out got their quad rego'd for road use here in QLD, I've had a quick look at the Department of Transport site but can't really understand what's on there. So can anyone shed any info on the subject for me about what you actually get for the conditional rego.
Cheers'

You get a thinner wallet, a sticker and a number plate.
There is a huge number of conditions available with conditional rego.
Talking quads, we normally just get given three. But try asking for more.
They allow you to load and unload on a roadside, cross a road from one riding area to another, and ride a designated route. ( like a organised ride to Cape York...)
Legislation in the cue includes giving quads the same rights as a registered trail bike in "designated riding areas".
Try wading through this thread...

Short version is get it. You'll get treated with less animosity........ _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.
