Just wanting to know if anyone has had much to do with powercommander EFI controllers.
Can they preprogram the controllers to suit your modifications? Confused

You can download maps from their website. Maps are designed to suit your mods.

They are by far one of the best available ,because you get the software with it so you can map it yourself , but its pretty tricky but take it to a dyna jet dyno and he will do it in a snap. explosive racing has made his own for the raptor 700
Stay away from the vortex only because you cant remap it if you go a bigger bore.

You can re-map the vortex, just not at home - it has to be sent back for them to do it. Vortex are made in VIC so it's not like it's an expensive exercise or a long turn around either.

And what will they re map it suit will they bolt on a dual DMC and then set it up to suit that.
My mate called vortex to get his cdi re mapped with his own curves they wanted $480 to do that.
With the powercommander you log on to their site there is a whole heap of differant combos you can choose from they might even have one for the dual DMCs
Good luck with it all.

i just put a power commander on my bike. i had a DMC single full exhaust system on it and i noticed little change. but since i put the power commander and the K&N it has turned it into a total different bike. it given me heaps more power all round and made it really aggressive. i got my map from the power commander site and downloaded with my laptop. very easy and self explainitory you need to do the acccelorator pump upgrade i set mine at 80/20/20 i seen these setting on another forum it it all works good on mine. i will be putting it onto a dyno soon
