I don't need to shift, as I'm already in the State that support the rest of Australia, and that would be Western Australia. _________________ "WHEN THE STAKES ARE HIGH, GET SERIOUS, GET KTM" |

WA has a good helping of off-road/desert and pony express type events. The numbers are good as well. I moved from WA to QLD and as far as I am concerned I should have left my quad in Perth. _________________ Its not if you win or lose but how you enjoyed the ride! |

SE Qld has a great climate, lousy wages and worse "transitional" legislation.
But a cold day riding the trails @ just under 20C in winter is alright for me.
I've got good trail-riding less than 30 minutes from home, a tolerant bunch of rangers and good mates to travel with, so money isn't everything when you've got the lifestyle your happy with. _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.

WA is where the money is. Tassie is where the tracks are at..
I gave up the money in WA, just so i could have a life and go riding in tassie!

I dunno about fruit and vegies and the like Cuzo. And anything that has a excise tax is dear. Home brew and "chop-chop" beats excise taxes.
The whole Coles/Woolies thing is a minefield of misinformation. They jam overseas stuff on our shelves cheaper (much cheaper ) than stuff produced 60km from our door. Broke local farmers sort of adds to the confusion...
And we lost our state backed 8 cent-a-litre fuel subsidy a while back, so, while we've 2 refinerys in Brissie, we now have some of the dearest capitol city fuel in the country. I can buy ALL fuels up to 12 cpl CHEAPER 300km from home.....
So I dunno if you've been mislead about all that, but the weather is still nice! Come up for a visit and scope it out. QLD is a big joint, there would be something for anyone. The Gold, Capricorn and Sunshine Coasts, The Gulf, The Tip, The Far North and the Outback to name a few......
I've worked around Aus a lot. Home is where the heart is mate..... _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.

Because the climate here is better Dazz.
