has anyone heard of or done ,,,
aparrently if you turn the cam back or forward a tooth , not sure wich way it makes a big difference and ive been told it makes it the same timing the yz 450f uses , if true and you have done it was it worth it

dont know heard some do that i know mine has the yz 450 f exaust cam in it nilly all the races do that mod

hey Disco, you need to turn the exhaust cam back one tooth, make for YZ450F timing. cheaper than buying a YZ cam plus your quad will still start pretty easy.

Disco,
Generally true for most cam mods... If you gain top end, you loose bottom end, and visa verse. Because quads are heavier, have more rotating mass and generally suffer more load than two wheelers, manufacturers usually go with a torquier cam set up. Add the fact that you are not the lightest bloke on the planet... and for general riding you will probably get best results from the stock cam setting. If you are continuously racing events where you know your engine revs will never bog below 7,000RPM then maybe play cam tining mods.
Stop playing with your camshaft and get your arce back here to race the Jumbo season.
