Evening all, as per title, Im a first time quad owner, just got myself a 660 Raptor, bog stocko, not a thing touched on it. Just getting into quads, been on 2 wheelers most of my life up to 2008 when i sold my freestlye ramp and kx250 to buy a 4x4 ute. Just getting back into it now, but riding a quad this time.
Plans for the raptor so far are, new handlebars, throttle, levers, exhaust, tyres, nerf bars, possibly bumper, down the track a bit will probably be suspension, might just play with the stocko setup a bit first as i dont have much money to spend on it and im not paid all that well where i work.
I live in Mackay, Qld and Im not sure about places to ride around here apart from the few acres i have at home, (see 3-4acres flat paddock).
Anyone from around these parts? And anyone apart of the Pioneer Valley Enduro Club? I am gona have a chat with them but from what a mate tells me, who rides a 2wheeler, they dont allow quads on the tracks.
Any info would be great.
