 |
|
My King Quad has the above problem. When stopping, if I happen to lock the back brakes, there is a barking noise and a bit of a jerk when I take off again.
With normal braking it's bot affected.
From what I've read on Suzuki CVT quads this is a fairly common issue. Also, I've read that it's not a problem that harms the CVT in the quad it's just more of an annoyance.
It definitely doesn't affect the performance of the machine. It still hammers.
I was wondering if anybody with a late model King Quad might be having the same issue?
By the way, the Suzuki dealership in Launceston are only to happy to have the quad back for inspection as they should be I suppose . _________________ 2010 Sukuki

Would probably be best to trade her in on something useful. _________________ 2010 Sukuki

i wonder how much i would get for a trade in ?
aussie made 59 model, reasnoble condition for age, goes ok, not real cheap to run, needs top end rebuild and rod kit, good wheels and rubber, still got some rego left.
then there is the other qusetion..... what do ya get these days,? i know the chinese ones are cheap and look ok but i have heard they dont last very long and can cost ya heaps of money after a little while.
so i suppose its either a american brand or japanise model.
