Hey all I know it's a bit early but just wanted to get the planning done for the next flat track meet at nudgee. I will be there with bells on this time! got my tires and nerfs sorted and ready to throw it sideways, is anyone else keen on the day?

If you are there at the practice day Is there a chance of asking if they would be prepared to have juniors racing[12-16yrs 200 -300 class].

whats the go with bike set up, overflows do u need split pins in bolts. i race motox but would like to have a go what do i need to change on bike and where is nudgee thanks

Hey guys what is the track like? Is it an oval ? Any chance of someone getting some pics or a u tube link up. There is a few of us up this way who are keen to give it a crack but we're not sure about tyres (never done any flat track before) Can we run worn mx rear tyres/close nobled tyres like claw sx or do they have to be turf tamers. Would the club let us run these as a one off to get people interested before outlaying cash on tyres. Also is there any camping at the track. Thanks Dave.

Hi morebloodymoney, I hope this helps......... The track is called Mick Doohan Raceway and is run (partly or fully, Im not 100% sure which) by the North Brisbane Junior Motorcycle Club, and is located at the end of Raubers Road Nudgee. I googled Mick Doohan Raceway and found a list of results for that search. You should be able to get a phone number off there somewhere lol.There's a speedway oval as well as a 'kidney' shaped track in deco (granite).My mates dad does the starts/flags for the speedway, so we go and watch the speedway from time to time. If you have no luck finding the info your after on the net, feel free to PM me and I will give him a ring and try to get the info your after

You can use the same setup as motox except tyres. they want a close tread design like turf tamers, kings slashers, kender dominator.

The only pics i have of Nudgee, all they require is nerf bars,body armour (chest) boots, and that you tape your lights up or remove them. Tyres did'nt seem to matter. We all ran something different on our sport quads.

Hey guys ive never been flat track before but im keen for a go, so count me in on the practice tomorrow , if its not raining that is . Do many quads do the speedway ? Or just flat track ? Cheers .

My family are out to get me my auntie has made her kids christening that day and i've been told i have to go apparently it's more important than racing (depends on who you ask i say) looks like i'll have to race reedy on sat instead
