No updates on the track yet , it should be unscathed . About 1/4 of the houses in town had water run through them which will take a while to clean up.
First club day is scheduled for next Sunday , should now more then !
It would be a perfect chance to do some "brown water jet ski enduro" type race ! |

Hey Madman ,Bit Damp right now the only thing that can move out here ATM are KTM's and postie bikes  even if we get no more rain the mud swamp should still be wet enough to warrant water skis under the front I'd also shape a hull for a chance in this years mud derby !
In regards to the MX track it should be perfect in a coupe of weeks , once the water soaks in !
might be a few mozzies and sandflies to battle between races, dont forget the insect repellent . |

Hey guys and gals. Just recieved a message from Roma club stating that Easter noms HAVE to be in by March 19th. Day licences are available & noms are available at www.romamotocrossclub.com . Camping is available at the track and scrutineering will be on Friday arvo from 4-6pm for all you early birds. Any other questions you have please feel free to msg me and i will try to help. So who's keen???  |

There maybe a few of us going to rounds 2 & 3 of the tri-state .We are hoping to take a few of our junior riders down there to get some experience. Let us know if your interested .

Thats a shame Dickie understandably, I was thinking you'd be taken home a podium for sure this year .
I'll send my noms in tomorrow , we been doing a few last minute renovations out here and its taxed heavily on this years ozatv/ ride time .

I would really like to come to this event (and still might, but you guys may have to accept a late nomination  ). I dont want to miss out on a ride on such a good track! But no travel buddy and short on funds is going to make it very difficult. |

Just spoke with someone from the Roma club. in case you are stressing, they will take nominations after the 19th but there will be a $15 charge for it. She even said you can still nominate on the day

I have had to cancel my registration for this. I have buggered up my shoulder somehow and the Dr has told me no action for 2-3 weeks. At the moment I can't even pickup a water bottle let alone hang onto the quad. Disappointing but thems the breaks!

try to pick up a beer see if thats any easier if it is then keep doing that for a bit and it mite fix it self

Easter in the Country is done and dusted for 2010

Overall Numbers were down but rear wheel pressure was of the rickta !
Spectators regard it a highlight of their Easter pilgramage to witness the Mad Quadracers that we have become collectively known , so big thanks from all of us in the bush for your valuable support .
Untill 2011 keep it pinned from Roma and District or I'll cyez in the pits ! |

We'll be here !!
Last count was 9 , competition age range from 18 to 61, thanks to the never give up guild of Geoff Udy and his "Madman"team, racing was first class.
The track and weather were perfect , opposite to the previous year or 2
As always the Easter gremlins were busy breaking wheel studs, fouling spark plugs and drinking battery juice .
This was my 7 th consecutive E in the C still only yesterday I learnt,
every Easter is a whole new racing experience! |
