The first round of the 2007 Qld Quad Supermoto Championships is on this Sunday at Qld Raceways Ipswich Kart Track with seven quads entered it should be a pretty good day, for those of you who did not support the event by entering it you can still show up as a spectator and support it in a different way.

hey greg,

i went along and was very very impressed. the kart club is unreal. the facilities are exceptional and the racing was very entertaining.
as far as the quads go, i was surpised that shane jesson on his ltz470 beat the 100hp banshees! the banshees just didnt have the space to get up to full noise. so i reckon the 4 strokes are the go. matt coulter was also impressive on his 250r with the ktm550 2 stroke motor, it was very fast.
In my opinion, supermoto is the next best thing to MX as its very well organised and the facilities make mx look 2nd rate. the only down fall is the expense. $50 to practice! ouch!

Yeah, I went out on a Saturday night and had a go but we got rained out. Had a heap of fun riding in the rain though. I am planning on having another try once the 700 comes back from holidays.

Do they have jumps in the dirt section, if so how big?

Jaden jaden jaden...........lets put your slightly biased statement into some sort of perspective shall we. "$50 to practice ! ouch !.......So please do tell me the last time that you went to a M.X. meeting that had any of the following free facilities:-

1 A covered pit bay for every single competitor with electric power
2 Hot/cold water showers for male and female competitors
3 E.P.A. licenced bike washing bays
4 Air conditioned rest rooms for competitors only
5 Licenced child care facilities
6 A fully equiped and manned medical centre
7 A 70 seater sit down cafeterie / licenced bar

The race entry fee for the Qld supermoto Championships (Rd1) was $100
which is $36 more than the Qld M.X. Championships last November at Reedy Creek. But............here is the big difference Jaden, every single class of yesterdays supermoto recieved trophies and PRIZE MONEY and it went as follows :-

1st = $200 Shane Jessen
2nd = $150 Matt Coulter
3rd = $100 Ashley Mc Iness
4th = $ 75 Adrian Wise

Shane jessens Lt 470 suzuki and Matt Coulters 550 KTM were the only two Quads that were set up with M.X. suspension as aposed the Ashleys and adrians still with Dirt track set up (70mm ground clearance). But you probably missed that obvious difference whilst you were looking in your wallet complaining about paying $1.50 for a can of coke !!!!!!!!!!

For anybody that was not there yesterday I can tell you this....everyone of those guys (and girls) deserved every cent that they won. The air temperature was a hot 39 degrees with absolutly no breeze whilst the actual track temp (tarmac) was a staggering 48 degrees !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well done guys, you were brilliant and a pleasure to watch, you got faces the fences while you were "perfoming" and I believe that you did more to improve the image of quad racing in Qld than has been done for a long long time............thankyou all.

geeeez, sorry i spoke..... next time ill keep my comments to myself. sorry sir. im now going to sit in the corner for my punishment Very Happy

mind you, at the qld mx titles we didnt charge spectators $10 to spectate like they did at the supermoto, we only charged $2 and that went to charity. I also commented that "the facilities made mx look 2nd rate" end quote. So i find your statement that i am biased a little bit biased yourself ! and as for the warm showers i did give Jamie Barkla one of my warm golden showers later that night and he loved it ! so back off on the mx titles boxhead.

over and out.....

Jaden this worries me a Little, what the f#$%k are you on about.

Derek
I'm keen as to give this bitumen stuff a go just need to invest in some leathers, it would be good to catch up some time and gain some pointers off you for quad set-up, such as would a sway-bar be beneficia?. Sounds like i might need some more hp too. I think they should have 100+foot jumps to make it interesting though!!

i am going to distance myself as much as possiable from you qld people, even though i am one of you. but anyway stop your moaning derek, all racing is good racing. atleast you guys have some racing. as for the motard sure i want to give it a go, but it costs heaps to practice. remebering you guys have it good $100 at oran park for the NSW boys.
i would love to see a NSW versus Qld race i would have to go for the cockies i think. paul Worth has the "profanity removed" down pat.
As for you mr rumble leave little jaden alone he is my bum buddie,
and when are you going to come out of retirement and put your money where your mouth is???
maybe i can't talk the talk but at least i asked.

Dear "yellow Stripe"
The answer to your question my short legged friend is simple "when bum buddies like you can knock off some of the race records that I left you four years ago!!!!!!! So in other words ,probably never.

Hi "fourskin"
I dont know what dillussional drugs you've been taking that have obviously rotted your pickled brain. But do not even consider yourself in the same class as chewapillow, for he is a worthy adversary and you are most definately not, but there's no harm in dreaming !!!!!!!!!!!

Hi "JB83"
Even your short and simple question is going to have jaden lost for a sensible responce, so be patient while he does a ring around of his pretend friends to help him with an answer.
If you want to P.M. me I think I can give the info that you require and also some contacts of quys selling leathers cheap. If you want, you are welcome to come along to some of the 'Track craft' and set-up days that I have at the Ipswich Supermoto track.

Thankyou Derek R for your witty and forthright reply. You are obviously a gentlemen of extreme intelligence and quick wit. Unfortunately for you and your bride, you are as ugly as a hat full of used arse holes and all the humerous "Hugh Grant" style british quiffs cannot hide such an abused head. I on the otherhand, am graced with not only humour befitting a modern day gentlemen and scholar, but also the charm and devilish good looks of a Brad Pitt.
To belittle me in such a manner as to lower myself below such a fool as Mr chewapillow has insulted me to no end. And as such, i challenge you to a gentlemens dual.
I ask that we meet in a secluded forest and at the stroke of dawn, we both draw our pistols in a non gay fashion. The winner of course will draw breath and hold ones head high. this will be me of course.

back to you sir...

Seriously, you lot need to get a room and get it over with! There is only so much Gay inuendo that the forum members can handle. Your turning the Qld section into Gay chat room.

Hi "gothev8"
I believe,that if you check this thread out you will see that the only 'gay inuendo' is from jaden("FOURSKIN") Crowell and his little friend Michael (YELLOW STRIPE) Roycroft and in doing so I rest My case.
