And so begins the holdens are heaps better than fords debate again all bikes are hard to shift 2nd hand cos new prices are spot on at the moment. I have a polaris that isnt selling at the moment great bike fair price but a new 450 is just over $8k 2nd hand KTMs are stuggling to get $9k when they cost $16 because they have new run outs for $12800 that is the reality with race bikes cost a fortune no resale but thats the price of fun.

here's my uninformed view. These seem to be last years race/practice bikes, so the market is flooded with them, so now the sellers are busy bumping threads till the cows come home. And if I'm totaly wrong, I dont care, I trailride which is far more fun and cheaper too. Very Happy

you might be onto something there Smile

JRE your on the money too Smile

I could never understand why manufactures would slash they retail price at the end of the year , which stuffs up the market for the racer selling there ,well looked after race quad to up grade. so maybe it's there fault eek

i don't find it hard to move my DS 450, always getting enquiries i have sold 6 over the last 2 years and have 2 left besides my outlander and that also goes for most of the X team selling there bikes.

the 2nd hand market is now a very good option for the people who want to get into racing or who want to buy great condition bike that has all the fruit and bickies. whether a suzuki, yamie, honda polaris. the Can Ams are a great bike, engine is very reliable the componets hang together, and there are a fair few out there now somore aftermarket and genuine parts are avaialbe and most of the 2nd hand ones out there have been well looked after as they are ex race bikes or team bikes that have been well maintined by the owners.
